New Things Learned:

For participants taking part in the AFCLC mixed-mode training, there was a demonstrated increase in their knowledge of family literacy, Aboriginal family literacy and Aboriginal approaches to learning.  Many participants were able to apply their new knowledge and understandings of Aboriginal family literacy to their Aboriginal Head Start programs, citing new family literacy initiatives.
