Summary

Learning unit 7 provides concepts and processes related to the importance of Aboriginal family, youth, and community engagement for the successful promotion of literacy and learning. A holistic view of culture, learning and community to encourage balanced strategies to support family involvement is included. This unit builds on the principles of culture, oral traditions, community support, and experiential learning studied in previous units to provide the foundation for these strategies.
